I just took the cruise out of a TJ and put in a TH, everything went well, pretty much all plug and play, it had everything, except one wire,
The white plug from the clockspring has 4 wires, while the plug it polugs into in the dash has 3, so, for those who have done the install/retrofit before.
This 4th wire, where would it plug into?
Is this pin perhaps folded back into the loom somewhere?
Any help would be appreciated, I would search, but I have still a few things to do, like fit a power antenna to said TH and finish off some trim pieces and stuff
Thanks in advance

Ok, so,, turns out I was actually missing the cruise ECU under the dash but a problem still remains. Seems Mitsubishi love making.things a little difficult. The TH had all the plugs for the cruise and the clock spring, except for the plug for the cruise ECU. So now I will have to wait for the guy who has the donor car to take the motor out so I can grab the entire loom as a whole and unpick the harness for what I need .
the donor car is a series 1 TJ, so I was hoping would the loom from the main ECU through the firewall to the fuse box in the engine bay, would that be a direct swap?
If it is, it would save me hours unpicking the loom.
Yes I have done this recently, I got an exec tj 1.5 series, and I had to use the entire engine harness, also you will need the brake switch as well. refer here for the shopping list. http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=103635&highlight=

Cheers mate, I'll make sure I'll get the entire harness. Did you just splice in the ECU plug and brake switch, or did you replace the entire harness?
when you get the harness, make sure its off a car with cruise (obvuiously :) ), it will have all the plugs you need, including the cruise ecu plug, your original brake switch plug comes ready for cruise, just not the switch itself, reason why you got to get a new switch from a car with cruise. after that, its just all plug and play.

Ok, so is the switch behind the brake pedal?
I'm at work so can't look at the manual

yes.
It is the same brake pedal switch you would have spliced into for your keyless go. It is part of the pedal. Cruise cars use a 4 pin plug.

Got the loom for the cruise ECU, now just need to get the brake switch and it can finally be finished

Well, it's all done, I ended up having to splice out the cruise ECU plug and wiring as the loom was from a TJ, and from a manual and the donor car is an auto TH plus the ECU plugs are completely different. All but three wires could be spliced in under the dash or pinned into the corresponding plug, while 3 had to go through the firewall and pinned into the plug that sits under the main fuse box.
Got it all wired up, test drove and........nothing, wouldn't work. Got back and started to fault find and tracked it down to a faulty vacuum module, swapped mine into her car and it worked. No just gotta find and replace the faulty module.
Don't really want to do that again in a hurry haha
