So, im having issues with Ecuflash.
I have a 1998 TF Magna (with reflash connector) currently with a TJ ecu. This has had the immobiliser removed and the car runs on this no worries.
I have an openport 2.0 cable. When I connect the Openport 2.0 to the car and the reflash connector, it tries but gives an error code after the fourth sending sequence. I am using the correct read template as well. When it tries to read, I can hear what sounds like a relay clicking on and off.
I know my setup works as I connected the Openport cable and reflash connector to my Dad's KJ Verada and read and saved the rom to my computer.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Kinda driving me insane! Oh and one other thing, I can log with evoscan no problems...
Another issue ive noted is I dont have a check engine light at startup. This happens on either tf or tj ecu. I tried renewing the glove and even fitted a spare cluster but with no luck. I noted on dads KJ that the check engine light flashes while reading the Rom; mine obviously doesnt so I wonder if this is the cause of the problem.
