hey guys
I've recently tried replacing the original head unit in my 98' TF and everything has been going well until I've gotten to the wiring. The original head unit has a single wiring loom but this new unit has slots for 2 wiring loom. Will I be able to find an adapter somewhere easily? if so where would stock these adapters or would it be easier to take it to an auto sparky to do the wiring for me?

If you want adapters, they come in pairs.
One specifically for the car to ISO.
Second is an ISO connector with plug specifically for the radio.
Supercheap/Autobarn seem to have a variety, but they are not cheap.
Should you want to connect things up without adapters, you need to match up the connections.
If it is a new radio, the connections will be in the manual for it. The plug wiring for the car should also be available off the internet.

How expensive would they be? 50-100? And would they even be guaranteed to plug into my radio?
The radio does have a manual but I don't have the proper tools or confidence to do the wiring myself

Under $50.
Shouldn't have any issues with fitment aslong as you get one for the car, and one for the headunit.

Yes, about $50 for the pair.
Take the radio with you, so you can match up the make & model of the radio to the description on the adapter packaging, then physically match the plug to your radio while you are in the shop. Second step is important, the adapter for a Pioneer (and probably other makes) comes in 2 versions, I found out the hard way.

Thanks for the advice guys :) I picked up just the single plug Mitsubishi socket and that worked straight from the ISO connection from the car into the back of the head unit, all I had to do was find a place for the grounding cable and I was all set.
Picked it up from autobarn in Cranbourne for 20 bucks too
