Hi, sorry if this has been asked before, but will the rear silencer of a TE fit onto my TJ? Seen them on ebay and the adverts seem to suggest they might? Thanks for any help/advice.

The standard 3 litre rear muffler has a smaller flange and pipe diameter than the later 3.5 litre models.

Some of the cheaper brands have slotted holes and will suit either intermediate pipes. 3L or 3.5L.

Personally I would get the correct muffler to suit the TJ.

Or take the opportunity to fit a high flow exhaust and get an easy 8kw... In case you hadnt considered it.
