My old TH Altera had a timer on the RW demister that would automatically switch it off after a set amount of time. Now I have a KL Verada that just doesn't seem to have this feature. Did MMA once again ditch a great feature in the name of cost cutting, I'm think the first gens brake bulb warning that was ditched when I say cost cutting.

Id love this feature. I usually remember to turn on my demister only after I check my rear view. Anyone hooked it up to a time delay relay? Details would be great!

Can leaving the demister on for extended periods of time ruin it in any way?

i had my rear demister on in my tf magna exec the other day. as you know its a push button which clicks on then u have to push it again to click it off so it pops out. to make matters worse the globe on it is blown so i cant see if its on or off. i left it on for about 3 days till i noticed it was pushed in. then i turned it off. just out of interest, what colour is the light that displays when its on? i bought the car about 3 months back and it was already blown...

My KL Verada GTVi has the timer... perhaps something wrong with your electrics?

Pretty sure my TL magna has the timer too, as it switches off after a set time
