hi,
quick question, not sure if anyone knows but the chromatic liquid stuff had gone all funny in my drivers door mirror making it a pain to see out of, I was going to replace the glass, I have the JDM mirrors installed on my car, do I just smash the glass and glue the new piece in? is it possible on these mirrors?
Thanks Nathan

On Aussie cars the mirrors just clip in and out, so it might be the same for JDM.

Mines doing that too, you can see a bit of liquid starting to pool on the bottom of the mirror, not bad though.
Do all Magna's have that same chromatic mirror or was it just a verada/JDM thing?

Mostly just a Verada thing, the JDM versions mostly came with heated mirror glass.
Like Nate_115, mine is also a JDM folding mirror but retro fitted with the ADM Chromatic glass

Thanks for your help, i'll be looking for some of a verada wreck then!

mine is terrible you can hardly see out of it, time to replace when you can see out of a mirror lol

Does the passenger mirror also clip in/out?
Mine has some scratches that show when looking into it

Yep, both sides just clip in/out. Might be able to use your fingers or if not a screw driver like nate_115 did.

well I must of broken a seal when ive taken it out and that chromatic liquid leaked everywhere without me knowing, its pretty nasty stuff, it had eaten the plastic away in my mirror and has stained the paint, I went to the wreckers to buy some new mirror surrounds only to find the jdm mirror internals are completely different, so im just filling and repainting the ones I have now. in short make sure this liquid doesn't touch anything you don't want to throw out after

Yes, we had the JDM mirror covers sprayed to match when we did the conversions.
The entire mirror is different.
