I have a 2004 TL wagon and it has standard steel wheels. they look like splattered feaces. I have an opportunity to buy 4 of 17 inch wheels off a 1999 Falcon S. (AU) I did the search in these forums and got about 200 results with no relevance to Ford wheels fitting my Magna. I have it in my mind from a few years ago that the Falcon wheels do fit the Magnas but I need to get some confirmation from somebody more knowledgeable than I, hopefully from this forum. Just by the way, do the center holes fit or do I need bushes?

They'll fit, but being a +35 offset, you will need to be careful with wheel width and tyre choices for the front.
You'll be at odds fitting anything wider than an 8" wide wheel at the front with a +35 offset and remain practical. You may also need hub-centric rings as most Falcons are about a 71mm centre bore, and Magnas are a 67.1mm

Thanks amerty. I am a 72 year old pensioner with 2 crook knees. Do you reckon I would have any use for super wide wheels? Nahhh. 5 kids, 15 grandkids and 4 great grandkids have slowed me down dramatically. Not to mention the 2 shot knees, one of which is being replaced with stainless in September. I am hoping to get the second one done at the same time. no use going through the same pain twice.

Graham. As ammerty says, they will fit, albeit with some adjustments, if necessary. Why bother? Don't buy the Ford wheels and just visit a wrecker where you will probably turn up a set of genuine Mitsubishi wheels for not much cash. A lot of tyre places also carry second hand alloys and you might find a set there as well. Sadly there are quite a few TH and TJs going to God now and quite a few were fitted with the "Manta" wheels as a special add-on. You can see what they look like in my Av picture.
P.S. Yep...I hear you about the knees. I have to have new ones, apparently. And don't get me started about the arthritis in the spine. EEEEEK!
