Does anyone know if a 7 spoke Verada wheel will fit a 380?
I know it has same offset etc but do the larger callipers on a 380 stick out too far?
Thanks.
Are you referring to the 16" rims on the GTVi AWD or the 17" rims on the FWD GTV as they are the only 7 spoke ones from memory. Either way, they should fit. the AWDs had the same sized rotors, just slightly smaller callipers length/arc wise. Remember the base model 380s came in 16" rims.

I meant the 17" on the fwd GTVI.
Good point about base 380s coming with 16".
If I wanted to, is it legal to switch from 225/50/17 which is factory standard on the fwd GTVI to a 215/55/17 for a bigger sidewall height when the tyre placard stipulates 225/50/17?
You need to check with RTA with changes to overall diameter which is the important thing, along with load ratings, assuming offset does not change. Overall diameter of 225/50R17 is 656.8mm while the overall diameter of 215/55R17 is 668.3mm so that makes the 225/50R17 11.5mm smaller in overall diameter. What is the minimum load rating on the 380?
Just checked for you. RTA allows up to 15mm difference either way so that leaves the load rating to be determined. 15mm smaller also makes the speedo over read quite a bit. If I were you, I would get the rims and then fit 225/55R17 with overall diameter of 679.3mm which is 11mm bigger than the 380 ones. Best fitting tyre would be 235/50R17 with overall diameter of 666.8mm but tyres in this size are more expensive.
