As title suggests, two part question :
1) I have to replace drivers electric widow regulator. One person job or not? Difficulty?
2) I also have to replace passenger side thermo fan. Is there a way to replace without removing hoses and thus losing coolant? Also, I have sourced one from a TJ, is there any issue fitting to KL verada? I have confirmed with wrecker that it had the two electrical connections but I won't pick it up until tomorrow.

Electric window regulator is a one person job provided you can wedge/hold the glass in position once the regulator assembly is ready to come out. If you can change spark plugs, change oil & air filters then the job is not that difficult.
The thermo fan is held in with five bolts. The fan housing has slotted holes for the two bottom bolts so the bolts can be loosened off & left in position. Remove the top two bolts as well as the air intake, remove the one bolt holding pipework to the centre of the fan housing, move the radiator overflow pipe to one side, unplug the electrical connections & slide the fan up & out whilst holding the radiator hose out of the way. Is best done on a cold engine so as to avoid getting burnt. Be careful not to drag the fan housing across the radiator hose as it may cut the hose.
Also check the fan shaft for looseness as I found the one on my TL had a worn sintered bronze type bearing bush which resulted in the fan blades having 10mm side play.

So far, I have only needed to change manual window regulators - not on Magna's.
Mine hasn't failed yet but I am sure it will over time.
Can the window be held up with strong sticky tape rather than wedging?
I won't be able to source an extra pair of hands.
EDIT: I just remembered they are frameless windows - are there any other suggestions?

Awesome, thanks. I actually think this is what's wrong with mine, it still works but makes an almighty rumble and there is tonnes of movement.

Window done, relatively easy. Used cable ties to hold gladglass while I removed the regulator. There are some differences in the cradle on the regulator between the Kl version removed and the TJ version installed - any ideas why? as it is, there's about 3mm gap between bottom edge of the glass and the lip of the cradle.
Fan is next cab off the rank today...

Fan done, easy job... Would have been even easier had I removed the battery housing that was preventing me from disconnecting the connections...
