Ever since fitting 380 front brakes to my KJ, I've wondered if there is any significant weight difference.

I've weighed the original pair & got 21.6kg (10.8kg a side).

If someone would weigh their 380 brake assembly before fitting them I'd be interested to hear.
Better still if both old & new were weighed on the same scales.

Not sure where the pads and rotors are... I have the full assembly in the backyard that I can weigh tomorrow

From memory, the 380 front callipers (cast alloy) weighed less than the AWD front calipers (cast iron). If the FWD callipers are also made of cast iron then it will be slightly heavier otherwise it will be lighter.
