My mechanic told me my control arm bushes for 2005 380 LE Man. is due for change.. the quote given is $497 for bushes + labour $110. I was told they could not find one in stock in Australia so will have to wait for one to arrive from japan once ordered. Do you guys think this is a fair rate? because i dont what the prices for this is normally...please help..

You might need to be a bit more specific as there are a number of different control arm bushes on each car and front or rear.
The labour sounds very reasonable, but the parts?
Not that I am familiar with 380's in particular, but it does seem a lot.
Get a quote from another mechanic.
Once you have a better idea of exactly which bushes need replacing, mention to your mechanic that you may be happy to settle for "Superpro" bushes.
They will probably have a suitable part in stock and are located in Brisbane.

Mitsubishi supplies the front lower control arm front bushes are part of the arm; front lower control arm rear bushes are available seperately or part of the arm.
A pair of arms will cost you about $300 for the parts alone depending on which dealer you buy them from if they're available.
Check with a Mitsubishi dealer parts department directly regarding price/availability, as you'll probably find the mechanic has included a nice little profit in his quote on the parts alone.
