Just bought a 2003 awd. The silver at the bottom of the gear stick is peeling off and it's annoying me more than anything. Can I replace that at all? Can you buy the silver part by itself from anywhere and stick it on? I haven't had much luck looking online

I assume that you are talking about the plate that sits around the base of the gear selector with "AWD" embossed on it? I would assume that that trim piece would need to replaced with a new one/part from another Magna as the silver is a coating over the plastic. I would also be interested in knowing what others have done as mine is not peeling but is sometimes very annoying with reflection from the sun.
