Will lifters from the other Cyclone engines fit the 6G75?
I've been looking for a new set since I've got one that's tapping a bit, and I figure if I'm going to do one, might as well get them all at the same time, but I can't find a full set that's listed for the 6G75 specifically.
If not, does anyone have a line on where I can get a set without going completely stupid on the price? (The shop that did my previous repairs quoted me @ $34 each for the lifters, which is a horrible markup in my books).

Try Rock Auto in the good ol'd US of A, see here: http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php?ck[year_1993]=true&ck[mkt_US]=true&ck[mkt_EU]=true&ck[mkt_CA]=true&ck[mkt_MX]=true&ck[viewcurrency]=AUD&ck[ID]=0&ck[idlist]=&ck[PHP_SESSION_ID]=8jdu1jlhkulkbh2ca7ddums5e4
Third listing, specifies 6G75, $5.46US per lifter. Plus postage from the US and crappy exchange rate, estimate $200AU for 24 lifters delivered.
Or else try Mal/madmagna/MitsFix.
Edit - sorry, linky no work, just go to the the RockAuto Parts Catalogue home page and go from there.
By my calculation it comes to $192.89 AU.
Edit 2 - path to get there is:
https://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php
Then Mitsubishi
Then 2006
Then Galant
Then 3.8L V6
Then Engine
Then Valve Lifter.

I replaced all 12 lifters on my 12 valve TS, then checked the lot I pulled out.
Only 3 of them were bad, so 9 were replaced needlessly.
Check the manual for the process of cleaning them out and testing, and just replace to ones that are duds.
Much cheaper that way.

I checked all my lifters and cleaned them out in diesel however it didn't quieten them.
They were not overly loud, but the engine does not silent when idling.
Not sure if I checked them wrong?
I tried compressing them with my fingers and none would.

I am really loving the Rock Auto site. Set of 24, with FedEx priority comes to $165 AUD.
LOT better than the $35 a pop the shop tried to quote me. I cannot ever see the point of paying $840 for a set of lifters, and THEN paying a hefty labor fee on top of that. Bugger that for a bad joke, I'll spend the weekend doing it myself and spend the rest on beer. Give a six-pack or two to the father-in-law and I'll even have a second set of hands that know their way around a shop.
