Hi. I have not reset the trip computer for about 2 weeks where normally it gets reset after every petrol fill up. On the way home tonight the total time travelled hit 19.55 hrs and started flashing. Why is 19.55 hrs travelled significance

It's approaching the highest time display the central display unit can get to - it's a 5 minute warning that it will go to "00" because it can't display "20.00".
I believe the later models (TL, TW) with the readout in the instrument cluster can read higher.

Yes means the time will reset to 00 soon - I also think maybe a Mitsi joke - you've been driving for 20 Hours! - get a coffee fast....

After 20 hours driving I've probably already stopped about 6 times for a leak and 3 meals breaks. Thanks for that,I'll reset the computer

I did 16.5hrs in one trip a couple of years ago, religiously stopping every 2 hours or so for a cup of tea and walk around but that was stretching it - I think the modern cars that pop up a coffee cup after 2 hours are better - the lawyers probably should ad a Bong Bong noise to really annoy you.

My TL has the coffee reminder that you can set between 30 minutes and 4 hours from memory.. I just turned mine off cause it's annoying.. When It goes off it keeps beeping at you every 5 minutes for about half hour then just gives up

My TL has the coffee reminder

Need one for drinks and loo breaks too. Especially the latter if you do in fact stop often for coffee!

I'd be more impressed if the car made that coffee for you though. But I'm sure a built in coffee machine will be available on a new car model sometime soon, if not available already.

OMG!!

Guys I will double check, but I am sure my car is showing 115 hours on it currently?

Yes, you have the digital trip meter readout inside the instrument cluster. That version goes much higher! Enjoy!

The central display trip computer is less capable in its display.

Is there any significance to knowing the hours since the last reset?

Spetz, yours go to 199hrs. There is no significance to know how long since last reset. Some would lime to know. The computer resets when it has reached the time limit it can display.

Driving Sydney to Kempsey every couple of weeks to see my elderly parents, I like to see how long the trip has taken as well
as the other functions on the computer. I'd probably say it's the most used thing on the car.
What happens when it reaches 00 and the clock resets , does the other functions do the same

From memory so don't quote me, average fuel economy, fuel used, trip distance etc all get reset.
