Hey guys ,

I recently took the rear muffler off my 380 to polish the tip, when I put it back on the prick rattles and drives me crazy.

Now I can't remember there being a gasket on there when I removed it (unless I dropped it somewhere) but the bolts won't seem to tighten past a certain point so I'm wondering if anyone e knows if there is meant to be a gasket?

Cheers

If it is like the 3rd gen Magna, yes there is a gasket.
But check your hangers - the muffler may be rattling against the body work.

Well, a 380 isn't the same as a Magna, wrong assumption again.
The rear muffler sits in a ball type socket and it may be that it isn't sitting in there properly. Try loosening it and wiggle it around till it sits flush.
