Hi,
I have a 2000 model Magna 3.0 litre 5 speed manual
I'm trying to replace the clutch
I have disconnected all bolts and cables off the gear box and it moves to a certain part but I cannot disconnect the thrust bearing off the box to get it out
I have watched the video on YouTube about how to remove it but I just carnt seem to pop it
Any advice would be great

Slam the gearbox back against the engine and try again?

When I removed a gearbox from a 380 engine the starter motor was stopping it from coming apart, So check that maybe?

You need to disconnect the thrust bearing. Won't come off otherwise. Put the gearbox back onto the motor and try again.

Read the instructions. You need to insert a large, flat bladed screwdriver into the bell housing and slide the thrust bearing to the side. the gearbox will then separate. It is a pull type clutch disengagement instead of the usual push type.
