I fit this electric seat a couple months back, was fine but suddenly today I was fiddling with the seat height, then went to bring the backrest forward and nothing. Goes backwards but not forwards

I'll pull the seat tonight and have a look to see if i've crushed a wire or something obvious. Main question would be is the motor a simple forward/reverse or are there 2 different motors? If the former i'm guessing the motor is fine and it has to be a bad or loose wire somewhere
