Does anyone have pics of a pod style air filter fitted on a gen 2 magna? I was thinking about getting one but Im having trouble seeing how they would go on.

you'll need to get a K&N (or similar) oval POD filter because of the MAF sensor. Don't bother getting the cheapo $20 POD filters in Autobahn or wherever, they are just toys, and will probably make things worse, especially when they are not designed to be used on cars with a MAF sensor.
Although I wouldn't recommend putting on a POD without a CAI setup.

I would recommend a Replacement Panel Filter(K&N or UniFilter) as a POD without a heatsheild will not produce much if any because all you are doing is sucking in hot engine bay air.
A Pod Filter wouldnt do noticable differences compared to replacement panel filters(K&N or UniFilter) unless you have a SS Induction/Cold Air Induction... Not the home made job with the pipes you need some sort of "scoop" to force more air in... because the whole idea is to have a higher airflow so if you dont force more air in... where comes the higher airflow?
Replacement panels are just as good on the TR/TS and they dont cost as much.
