Hey guys

I was just flicking through the Dobinson springs catalogue and note that they now do a Superlow spring (front and rear) for 380s.

Has anyone given them a go yet?

This might be interesting

Yeah me too, I'm very happy with my Dobinson Lows, however I wouldn't mind going a little lower. Another 15mm or so would be beaut.

My only concern is that unless the spring rate is reasonably stiffer, they might be a bit prone to bottoming out (like Superlow King springs on the 3rd gens).

Got a reply back from Dobinsons:

"The super low springs are around 20mm lower than the lowered springs. There is not listing on the spring rates for these springs, although they should be slightly strong than your existing lowered springs."

I'm still a little worried about bottoming out, but I think the desire to have the car sitting a bit lower will trump that...

So, what is going to be the overall drop from std height then? Are they listed for front and rear?

Not sure mate, I didn't measure my car when I had the Lows installed. They are for front and rear.

So for anyone interested, Mal's been all over this - thanks mate!

Apparently the Superlows were a one-off and aren't available for ordering (despite being listed in their catalogue). However Mal's twisted their arm into making a small run of them which should arrive with him in a few weeks time.

I've already paid for my set :D Might be worth giving him an e-mail or call if you're interested because this might be your only opportunity for them.
