Well my trusty old TP Elite wagon hit the big 300... Guess she is officially in the high mileage club! She's been going really well, certainly not without a lot of great advise from guys on here. It's got me wondering, what's the highest mileage Magna you guys have seen? I'd imagine 300 isn't all that unusual. Cheers,Steve

I think there's a member kicking around here with 450,000kms+ on this TJ. User name escapes me
Likewise, a few other third gens with 300,000kms+ but I don't know much about the first gens on here
Mine has a mere 94,000kms on my TW

I owned a TN SE and sold her about 1/2 a year ago with 295,000.
Highest i've personally seen was at the wreckers in a TP. Nearly half a mil. 492,000. Poor Magna would have been to china and back several times over. I'll never forget the day i saw it .

Hey Buffy, hope your doing well !! 492000! Wow,I've got a way to go then! Mind you,she had 273000 when I put the TR engine in her...doesn't seem that long ago. I do a lot of miles between Bris and the Gold Coast so that will get it clocking up...by the way, what oil viscosity and oil change intervals do you run in a good engine? It's got 15w/50 Nulon in there now but was thinking of going to 10w/40 for the cooler weather...well,by QLD standards anyways! My basic old workshop manual just says 20w/50 but that's not the roller cam engine...what ya reckon?

my 1990 TP wagon saw out 380,000 before hitting a roo (head gasket went at 330,000 and replaced with a higginbottom reco); my 1990 TP sedan (auto this time) is up to 297,000 and just getting a birthday with the engine out of the wagon..

My TP auto carby wagon has 294,000. She has been pensioned off now and is used as the farm car. She sits in the paddock waiting for some to give her a run. She has a small solar cell to keep the battery topped up. It starts instantly every time. I replaced her with a TW on gas. The running cost was too high at 12L/100 km. The TW is running at 12L/100 km on gas. I did a lot of work on the emissions system a year or so ago. The last thing, but never attempted, was to investigate the fuel level in the bowl because she tended to flood when at rest. Much of the work was posted here.

Mines nudging 450K. And I think we're both in need of a bit of maintenance.

The TP wagon I have has just got to 470K. Bought it for $400 eight and half years ago. Has never broken down. But have got a whining noise that is getting louder and am only hoping it's a rear wheel bearing.
Apart from some considerable sabotage by a sociopath, it's still going well.
