hey all,
so tf has started up with yet another issue, basiclly while driving the steering wheel wobble about 1-2 cm left and right while driving, slow or fast and the car is pulling mostly to the right ( if i let go of wheel to check it instantly starts pulling off into the next lane) but sometimes mildly to the left
last time i had somthing similar it was from a tyre having a bulge in it but had all tyres checked today and they are fine.
any ideas? cheers

Could be a whole bunch of things.
Have you hit a kerb (even gently) recently?
If so, I'd probably go for an alignment first, and if that doesn't fix it, ask them to have a look at the suspension while it's on the hoist.

nah havn't hit a kerb, my area has the worst roads in northern nsw tho .. thanks man ill call the tyre shop back and see why they didnt suggest that while car was there and book it in :tired:
How good is the tread depth? If you are getting low on tread, and have misalignment, this can cause shimmying. You will probably feel it more at low speeds that higher speed. Also, check the wheels and tyres for lateral runout (side to side). That will cause problems. I had a set of Michelins on my wife's TF and the whole car used to shake side to side at low speeds. I checked and found slight runout - probably only 2 mm or so in the centre of the tread. Eventually, after replacing both front wheel bearings, I decided that maybe it was the runout. SO I went back to the tyre dealer and found that he had sold me tyres which were underrated for the car. Discussion between the tyre dealer, tyre distributor and myself and I had a new set of tyres because the tyres themselves were faulty as wella s being underrated. Problem solved.
