Am thinking of changing the drivers / pax front seats in my TJ.
(Strange how something that my fat ass has been planted on for a couple of years would deform!)
My question is, what seats would fit....as in no faffing about, climb underneath, unbolt whole seat and rail, re-fit same way? Obviously third gen magna / verada I am assuming, but what about some nice 380's or 380 leathers....do these come in non powered versions? Will it be a simple bolt up exercise?

If you have ever taken the seats out of your TJ, you will see that the seat rails are not easily removed, certainly not an unbolt proposition.
No idea what seats would go straight on those rails.
Pretty easy to rebuild/fix the original seats to as new condition though.

I'd be interested to know if 380 seats fit in a third gen? I'd love some leather 380 seats in my GTVi!

380 seats can be made to fit, it needs the holes made bigger and a tab welded onto one leg, backs will fit, kind of, but, there is a gap at the top of the rear part of it. How legal this is all is up to the individual.

Hi you could get a left hand seat and swop the cloth. I did it and you can not pick it.

If I owned a TE-J, I would be looking for a Verada EI at the wreckers. And buying all the seats. Then I would fit new leather covers available from various places (I know a set is available from a mate of mine) as it's not very expensive, and easy to do yourself. Then, the seats would have more padding, be more comfy and the leather trims have extra padding sewn into them, which makes the whole interior lift.
