Hi Guys,
I had few questions regarding my car
When i was driving from another city to home i felt lack of power and my fuel consumption was hing while reaching to home i find oil burning smell and thick dark smoke from exhaust. I opened the fuel injectors also on the rear sode 3rd fuel injector i found fuel in i suspect the spark plug later thought the fuel injector i replaced the both and and started it i find thick white cloudy smoke.
I worried what went wrong i googled it i see all pointing towards head gasket on odometer showes 230000km. I3 months ago i changed the timing belt, waterpump and alternator. I am not so mechanical but i do few minor things.
Please advise me.
If fuel injector on the rear side 3rd one what might be the cause.
What went wrong with my car now when i start continuosly thick white smoke like a cloud from exhaust.
Should i have to throw in wrercker or is there any chance of DYI in little amount i can bare. Which i live in Adelaide in Broadview.
Thanks.

Did it overheat? If its a head gasket or cracked head it would probably have boiled.

White smoke is usually a sign water is getting into the combustion chamber. (look for water droplets spitting out of the exhaust to confirm)

Finding out where, and fixing it may be expensive.

Probably not valve stem or gasket problem. Those problems won't result in lack of power or thick smoke as you describe. My guess is a timing or ignition problem. Maybe the timing belt slipped a cog. Its possibly something simple.

Hi again.
I night when retaching to home i found dark smoke from my side mirrors and as well the futel consumption is is more and on up i felt lack of power. When i opened i found rear 3 rd fuel injector lhs in there petrol i dried it and changed fuel injector from wrecker and changed the spark plug and start on found thick white smoke continues from exhaust. Left ot for 10 mins idle raised the engine atill the same.
If 3rd injector fuel stagnant means that cylinder is not burning may. What might the cause.
Should have to check pcv valve. Should i have to change fuel filter. What else your suggestions. .
Thanks mate.

Excess fuel burning usually is black sooty smoke, if I remember rightly.
White smoke is definitely water, hold your hand in the white vapor and see if your hand gets wet.
Coolant level staying normal or going down?

Wet fuel on the number 3 injector may be because water is getting in, and the fuel not burning.
Don't worry about other things like pcv valve or fuel filter. Identifing if water is entering the engine is more important.

Perhaps someone put Diesel fuel in the car by mistake?
