Do all 380's have the badges placed under the tail lights?

Mine are on the boot and I wanted to know if it was the previous owner or standard.

Never seen or heard of (before now) badges on the bootlid, so my guess is the previous owner moved the badge(s).
Or else the rear end was repaired and the repairer stuffed up.

Pretty sure its same suspension,so maybe it is just twilights.GT and VRX would of been nice with MIVEC.

I am not an authority on the subject and there are differences between the series also. Yes, both SX and VRX have sports suspension. Some VRX have the VRX ensignia on front seats. Some VRX have leather, same as GT. Some VRX have big spoiler. I have seen VRX with same sun visors (illuminated mirrors and slide out to block out further) as GT. I think VRX has more electrical adjustment on driver's seat. I think all series of VRX have 17 inch wheels. I am almost certain the SX also has sports seats (VRX does). Learning as I go, as we have a 380 GT and are looking to acquire a second 380 (VRX, SX OR GT).

VR-X leather was a factory option. I've heard it wasn't an option on series 3, but I've seen a couple of series 3 VR-Xs with leather so I'm not sure how it all works. Either way leather was much more common in series 1 and 2 than series 3.

VR-X has a 6 way electric adjustable driver's seat. GT is 10 way driver and 6 way passenger.

VR-X series 1 and 2 have the bootlip spoiler, series 3 has the full-size spoiler.

SX vs VR-X is all down to trim - they're the same suspension, wheels/tyre size and engine/transmission.

While it's not the same question, VR-X vs GT basically comes down to the seats, slightly better stereo in GT, bluetooth, checkerplate style instrument cluster, parking sensors, sunroof (which was factory fitment in series 1, and an option in 2 and 3), chrome strip down the side doors, and colour-coded rear bumper.

Sometimes, but maybe not always. Thought mine was an series 2 SX because it didn't have any spoiler (and no badges when I bought it) - took it to Mitsu and turns out it's a VRX

Sorry mate but that doesn't sound right at all. I haven't seen a single other VR-X which was completely spoilerless, nor have I seen a series 2 VR-X with the base model tail lights.

Also, I see your SX/VR-X has chrome headlights, which was another feature of the SX. VR-X (and GT) had the black headlights.

I haven't seen another one either - but it's defiantly listed as a VRX at Mitsubishi. Im lead to believe that the car was formally a company car for a bank which may explain the weird combinations
