Having replace fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, distributor leads, new distributor some 8 months ago, my KF has been tow trucked 4 times due to loss of power, stopping in traffic and stopping after replacing the above items. It will free rev in neutral but as soon as it is loaded, about to drive off, I don't have drive and it wants to stall. Any ideas please - Gordo

Hi Gordo.

Is the carpet near the dash in the front passenger foot well wet?

Try pulling the carpet back a bit (up under the glovebox) and check if it's damp or wet.

Just checked and it is bone dry. Have replaced heater core some time ago as well.

What is the condition and level of the transmission fluid. When was the last time you replaced the external transmission filter? I assume being a KF that it has one..

Just thought I would let you know that I have solved the issue with my KF. The lower throttle body pipe fitting had corroded to the point of leaking onto the distributor, drowning and stalling the engine. Much relief the KF is going again.

Pictures of corrosion?
Good work on finding the issue
