Hey guys, 380's still a comfortable and powerful beast... but the driver's seat is becoming a really squeaky thing. Obviously is worse so when cold, but it still does when warm too... the leather rubs a bit on the seatbelt stalk, but i've noticed that i can feel it inside the seat too?
Purchase a new-ish seat? or anyone else have any suggestions?
How about a soft (velvety furry) sticky that you 'stick on' your seatbelt stalk?
Something like the soft side of Velcro tape.
That should lessen the rubbing noise.

Some of us in here had a squeaky noise coming from the seat belt buckle bracket, maybe check that ....

Yep, same here, hit the seat belt buckle where it bolts to the floor with some WD40 and it might get rid of one of your squeaks.
I had my seat replaced under warranty twice.
Then the warranty ran out and i investigated it.
It is the wires under the seat, they slice through and squeak.
pull the seat out....it's damn heavy...(disconnect battery if you dont want an airbag error and a trip to a dealer)
flip seat upside down....then start applying RP7 ...EVERYWHERE.
worked for me...and had been working for 3 years.

I had some bad squeaking in the seat base.
A shitload of Inox lubricant sprayed to the underside of the seat seems to have fixed it.
I didn't take the seat out, I just put some newspaper on the carpet to catch the drippings.

Unbelieveable to me that this is actually a really common thing. Mind blown :)
Be better off using either CRC Dry Glide lube which has PTFE and dries very quickly so you don't get the gumming or spraylube stains & smells. Otherwise for something thicker, white lithium grease spray which is a heavy duty lube that doesn't drip or fling off & is ideal for seat tracks & window tracks also.
