I did a lot of searching but with no definitive answer as I wanted to start making my cold air intake(CAI), so I thought I would post this.

After fighting with the top 2 plastic trim screws, to remove grille on a TL (or TW) the hardest part is the bottom tangs.

There are 4.

2 of them - both outermost(not the inside 2) have an extra protrusion.

To get them undone, use a hacksaw blade that has some electrical tape wrapped around it(to protect the paint), slide it between the grille and the bar on the outermost tang on passenger side (for passenger side grille) and push the blade downwards slightly whilst pulling the grille forwards and upwards.

This will lift the tang upwards whilst pulling the grille forwards.....and the grille will safely pop out. :woot:

Picture 1 shows the underside of the grille with 4 tangs..... remember, the outer ones.
