Hey guys, been trawling through the forums for a while, thought this would be worth sharing.

Sometime between saturday night and sunday morning, the driver's side window has completely shattered. Car had been sitting in the carport overnight so I'm dumbfounded as to how this happened. Coincidently melbourne had the coldest morning so for now I'll be blaming that and just sheer bad luck for this happening...

Hmm, me reckon someone tried to break in. Can you have a closer look at the seal that is circled in red. The glass break pattern looks like someone tried to jimmy the glass from that location.

O'brien couldn't identify a focal point for the smash, lucky I had window cover so was able to get it replaced and tinted. Nothing too special about my 380 but will be listening for any footsteps late at night...

I wonder if you drove the car late night with the heater on high and directed towards you/drivers window, then if a particualrly cold night chilling the window quickly once you left it causing sufficient stress to shatter it. Also if stressed by a temp differential it might not take much of a knock to cause it to shatter.

Mine lives outside - was certainly iced over the next morning, but no breakage...
