i've done a search and there seems to be alot of people using the ngk iridium spark plugs in their 3.0L V6 magnas. (i have a TF Exec) I just wanted to know if anybody on here has used these denso Iridium IK20TT spark plugs and what they think/thought of them.
on the product description (fleabay) they have a service life of 100,000kms (not here to debate on whether this is true or false) i just want people's experiences with them and if they are all the hype that the description says that they are...
at $126 for 6 of them i would like some info please... as i am considering using them on my 3.0L V6

i'm looking for info such as:

fuel consumption better or worse
improved acceleration
how many kms before you replaced them and if you continued to use that particular brand of plug and if not, what did you switch to....
etc
etc

thanks in advance
Anth

Spark plugs alone aren't going to be a silver bullet for bad fuel economy or sluggishness (though to be fair, any suitable plug will improve acceleration if your old ones are worn), and at $126 for 6 I'm sure there are better value choices out there.
Pretty much any iridium or decent double platinum will do the same job.

I recently replaced my Bosch Double Platinums with Champion Double Platinums in my wagon, which are OE for the car, and I'm happy with them.
I have Autolite XP Iridiums in my sedan, they now have 52,000km/2.5 years on them and car runs as smooth just as good as the day I fitted them, as one would expect, and were under half the price of the Densos.

The Mitsu V6 is real easy on spark plugs and even copper cored plugs will go a fair distance if you are prepared to regap them every 30 to 40,000 km.
Single or double platinums will go 100,000 km easily. For the price, iridiums are overkill.

Sparkplugs are basically binary devices, they either fire the petrol/air mixture or they don't. You would certainly notice a misfire if one plug was not firing under load.
