Getting ready for the next service and tranny flush, so I went to the local Mitsi dealer for tranny fluid and oil filter.
10L Mitsi tranny fluid SP3 = $84 (now in "home brand" style white 5L plastic containers with very plain label)

1 x Genuine oil filter = $19:hmm:

Strangely, the also offered "Speedy" brand as an alternate to both?!?!? :wtf:

Just keeping the group updated on prices, that's all.

Label will not make any difference on the fluid, BP no longer make the fluid so any stock for now will be just the dreggs of what they have left. We have now changed to Castrol as Fluid Drive use Castrol in all the warranty transmissions for Mits, is also fully synth

Filter, so what, $19, is a little high but is correct for the car, is what we use here, not like you use 2 of these each week

I asked for an oil filter from the dealer and they tried to sell me a Value Select one for the same price as a genuine one. I wasn't going to pay $22 for a non genuine when I could get much the same thing for half that price at an auto store. They ended up giving me the genuine Mitsubishi filter that is made in Japan.
