I had some intermittent unrelated electrical issues for several years and think I have finally solved them by accident. They involved the headlight on warning buzzer only working occasionally (hence several flat batteries), the remote central locking only worked when it felt like it (countless new remote batteries and one new remote), the electric windows still working even with the ignition off keys out and door open. There may have been some more but that's all I remember, anyway the drivers door light switch was worn out internally and when jiggled it made the door warning light on the dash flicker.

I replaced the drivers door light switch ($20 at Mitsy dealer) and all the problems went away. I am thinking the switch is a common point for the body control module as all the issues relate to the door being opened.

Anyone else had this issue?

has the remote central locking issue gone away? those remotes are crap anyway.

Yep the remotes work much better. Do you know if there are after market ones that can replace one that broke?

My KH has an issue related to the driver door switch.
The headlamp warning buzzer is intermittent and jiggling the switch helps it. Also the central locking locks automatically at unpredictable times. I tried swapping it for one of the rear passenger ones but I think it has different pins, and hasn't fixed it.

Talking to the parts guy at my local mitsubishi dealer he said the drivers door switch was site specific due something to do with the security and central locking. I also had trouble with the doors locking whenever they felt like it but it seems to be better now.

Yeah, I had a problem with the drivers door switch. There was a bad connection to ground. Cant remember if it was the switch contacts full of crap or whether it was the ground connection from the switch to the body.
