recently changed out my headlight globes and found that the driver side low/high reflector is loose also today I went to align the lights and found the up down adjustment not working would recon the two are connected
has anyone got any advise on pulling apart the headlight assembly
also when adjusting the high beams up down worked but side to side didn't seen to make any difference anyone had similar experiences
I remember reading a thread with something about putting the headlight in the oven to break the seal but for the life of me I cant find the thread

Michael (maggie3.5) is our resident expert on 380 headlight disassembly, he can point you in the right direction.
I'm pretty sure he uses a heat gun to soften the glue and break the seal.
Apparently it's less chance of damaging the headlight than sticking it in the oven (never mind SWMBO!).
A hairdryer won't cut the mustard, not enough heat.

Yes I would recommend a heatgun. I melted the casing of one of my old TJ's parabolics by leaving it in the oven too long lol
