Hi can anyone tell me if NTN are a good replacement part for OEM,
reason for asking is I bought a Gates GHT-01 from an E bay site in Aussie and received a NTN brand in its place??but it was in a Gates box.:hmm::woot:

are you saying gates kit which has a gates belt but NTN bearings? NTN is a jap bearing company probably OEM supplier, forget what was on my originals but I have seen that brand before. what were you expecting? Koyo is another OEM brand

I believe NTN tensioners are factory/OE fitment for 6G74s, according to this (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=101266&p=1583804&viewfull=1#post1583804).

for your replies I just thought it would have Gates stamped on it and wondered why if you look up GHT-01 it shows a picture of a different looking gizmo with a fat piece on the end?
