Just purchased a tw wagon and yesterday started making this weird tinny rattle but a cant pinpoint it.https://youtu.be/kQ6P3MAyTrU

I have searched and seems to be either the y piece on the exhaust or tensioner but from other vids i think this sounds different.

Start with the simple things first if you haven't already check everything for loose fittings stones in heat sheilds jack it up put it on stands and hit tap shake to me from what I've read here It doesn't sound like a tensioner especially if it doesn't go away after a bit
I had a rattle in my wifes pajero took my weeks to find it turned out to be the bushes holding the air box had shrunk worn and the metal sleeves were making contact with the body it was driving me nuts
It sound like something loose for the clip I hope its something simple good luck

Hard to tell but the Y piece does sound like that. When I had that problem I think it was most noticable when the car was cold. Also make sure the power steering is topped up.

That there is the EGR pipe.

I wonder if this could be re welded.?
I rang Mitsubishi and quoted $87 for new pipe and gasket.
