Hi guys,
Umm the screws holding the grill. How do they come out.I turn them and they just turn,no come out.Tried levering them with small flat head,no go.Must be a simple trick I'm missing.

One of the worst designed things in the world. If you can get a screwdriver in there, don't try and lever them up, it's now time to use the screwdriver again, so you need to lever and twist at the same time.

They're called scrivets, and as Michael says they are the worst invention in history.
If all else fails, slip a very small flat blade screwdriver (such as a jeweller's screwdriver) in between the head of the "screw" bit and the surround and lever the screw up. Then slip a slightly bigger screwdriver in the gap and lever some more, until you have raised the screw high enough to be able to grip it with your finger nails and pull it out. If your finger nails don't do the trick, try some pliers. Even then this doesn't work every time, and sometimes the only way to get it out is to destroy it. I've destroyed a number over the years.
About six years ago I went looking for new ones, and found that you can get them from the Mitsu stealership at a ridiculously high price or from SCA/Repco etc at a slightly less exorbitant price.
In the end I found a jar of 50 at Coventry Fasteners on Kilburn Rd for a fair price, around $45 IIRC. I've used about half that jar since.

Never had issues with them to be honest, the 380 ones you will notice most the head is smaller than the bit it goes into, just a gentle lever with a screw driver and out they come.

As I have millions of these as spares here if one is a little hard or has been damaged I just punch out the centre and replace it.

Thanks guys,
To be honest I gave up,first one was getting destroyed so couldn't be bothered buying new ones.I was mounting a number plate mount for some new lights.I wanted to put some oversize washers behind the bolts.Used pointy nose pliars and went through a square cut out under the plate.Anyway now I know, have spare scrivets first.
I thought it would be an easy job,I thought the same thing when I changed over the H4 and H7 globes.
You need the hands of an elf for that one.
BTW I never use my fog lights sooo instead of running a wire through firewall, for spotlight switch.Could I just use my fog switch for my spotlights instead?Make the job lot easier.
