Hi all , newbie here... I've just purchased a KJ Verada Ei in silver with 97000km's it needs the rocker covers done etc, but I've got the parts ordered for that.

I'm looking for some info about the centre armrest... It's to low, I was looking at a diamante console, I can get a US one fairly cheap on ebay but not sure if it will fit. I see the diamante ones have cup holders so I guess they are higher? I've had a searching the forums but can't seem to find the answers I'm looking for... I'm also looking at getting one of those schmik nardi steering wheels amongst other things.

Yes it will fit mate. Go for it. I have one fitted to my TJ series VR-X. Make sure you buy one that has the cupholder mechanisms intact and not damaged in anyway. Your better off spending a bit extra and buying one in good nick seeing it's coming all the way from the states. That's what I did

And yes they are higher than the Australian version

No you need to buy the whole thing, not just the lid as it's a 3 way. Opens from the front for bin access but the lid also opens from each side for storage there also. It would be probably 2-3 inches higher. Not sure on that though
The USA version has allot more features than our basic consoles

pretty sure that the TL/TW rear console sits higher,be waaay cheaper than a Diamante one.

Or there's that option too Mick. Not sure if it's as high as the USA version though. I don't know as I haven't paid much attention to the TL/W version

Pretty sure that due to the rear vents coming out of the back of the console, that it would be ALL models of the TL /KL range.

I've got the US diamante Console on Mine.
If you have a manual or a tippy, you might wanna give this console a miss as it does get in the way somewhat when shifting as you have to keep your elbow raised somewhat when shifting.
Also, I hate to say it but as nice as they look, they are very cheaply built, being made out of hard plastic & the cup holder mechanisms are very crude & prone to not clicking shut. I'm on my second one now which was in pristine condition BTW, and the rear cup holder won't click shut when pushed in :-S. Has been like this for 5 years now.

Seriously, you are better off getting a genuine leather console lid skin (you can buy them off ebay - a few sellers do them) and fitting it on to your existing lid.
