Hi guys, my Verada wagon has a heater fan malfunction. I started it up the other day after leaving it for a fortnight, and now the fan goes all the time on full blast, I.e the fan switch won't respond to any touch and the ac switch won' t kill the fan either. Anyone come across the gremlin before? Any tips on how to fix without taking the dash apart? Thanks Bob.

Remove the glovebox and have a look at the wiring to the fan.

Maybe the fan resister

If the fan goes all the time and at flat out speed, the control resistor has been bypassed. Check for a short in the resistor and also the incoming wiring.

Also look at the switch itself. If it fixes the problem by unplugging it, the problem is the switch.
