Hi guys,

I find my KJ2 climate control unit to operate somewhat oddly.

When the fan is on (no A/C), the air coming out of the vents is cold up until setting it to 27 or so, at which point it becomes considerably warmer, and then each increment until 32 makes a difference.

Is it normal that between the lowest setting and about 26 the air does not get any warmer?
If not, what could the issue be?

If having issues with the Climate control first step in clean the Cabin sensor. I pulled my dash apart and wiped it then Climate control went crazy, cleaned the sensor and all come good again.

Was the climate working fine and now playing up or always been like that..?

Where is the sensor?

To be honest I can't remember, but I think even though it always behaved this way, the issue is worse lately.
MIN to 27 is still cold, and then 28 becomes pretty hot.

You need to pull your dash apart but half hour of messing around is worth the try. On the right of the temp knob you will see little goove/vent looking grille. Its in there. If you have compressed air you can try blowing it in there to clear sensor of dust and crap before pulling dash apart.

Year think the tube is that side, Been ages since i pulled the dash apart. Other thing is the tube.. Is it still attached. If it wasnt or blocked would give you false reading therefor Climate would do odd things.
