I was changing a blown light bulb for my interior light and may have forgotten to disconnect the battery and a little spark came out of the slot for the bulb. I then noticed that the trip computer needs to be fully setup everytime i go to turn the key, the car now seems to take a lot longer to start and it also seems to hold gears a bit more significantly now. TJ series 1. Help a brother out

lol

Sounds like you've reset your ECU yes, but not fried it. The INVECS II technology behind your auto trans now will relearn how you drive.

If the trip computer needs resetting (S for sedan, W for wagon) every time you start the car, you may have fried a fuse, so you'll need to check them all. Does the interior light and the remote locking still work?

Go by Flyboy's advice. If you fried your ECU your car wouldn't start at all. I'd disconnect the battery for a few minutes then reconnect it and start the car. You'll get the "S" and "W" indication in trip computer and there's a section in the manual on how to input the correct setting. Then everything should be okay (given that your fuses are okay). It might take a couple of trips in the car for the auto to "re-learn" your driving pattern.

The bulb works yes and I haven't a keyless remote in years, however i remember putting the key in the door and the doors wouldn't lock, so no the central locking isn't functioning

If fuse looks okay, check with a multimeter. They can sometimes look okay and be dead.

Check fuses housed in the yellow square in the engine bay fuse box

Next time unscrew the interior light and pull it out of the roof lining. I've replaced that globe 3 times, first 2 times blew that fuse, then I got (a bit) smarter.
