View Full Version : The last Sprintex 380 Supercharger kit.
Just had this delivered today.
(hearts are about to bleed all over the 380 forum.)
The good folk at Sprintex rang me last week and asked if I was interested....reluctantly I agreed....
It is the last one....packaged with the very latest series 5 unit.
On the shelf it goes with all the other rare spares...:)

Tell me Zilo how many kits other than the 20 TMRs did Sprintex produce and how many 380s do you know of with the kit fitted

My GT,
My manual VRX (sold to a member here who took it to RPW who destroyed the car on the dyno),
Foozrcool golden nugget,
A guy on another forum...
That's about it....the kit cost $6000 when it was mainstream....

If it's taking up too much shelf space and you need to get rid of it I'll happily take it off your hands ;) $$$

RPW happened . : .
Any details of what happened??
They didn't know how to tune a Link ecu so convinced the poor owner to fit a Haltech....and in the process the motor mysteriously went bang on their dyno.
It was a brand new motor...not a reco...a brand new long motor from Mitsubishi with about 5000k on the clock.
They blamed all sorts of things but in the end it was their fault, the car ran perfectly for months and was dyno'ed at 200.8kw at the wheels.
Unfortunately it had their extractor kit...which made it marginally fail emmissions....another denial by them...they sell extractor kits that blatantly make a 380 fail EPA in WA.
I feel so sorry for the guy...the car ran so well before RPW stuffed it.
