How do you clean the inside of the engine block after head gasket failure, I don't think usual type of flush will do it, Wyn's etc.

a flush idea

you take off the water pump and could use a water pressure cleaner through there

you wont be able to clear all the internal corrosion build up

#check for hairline cracks in the block between the front welsh plugs

heater core
is only thin copper construction
just normal hose pressure only to flush

the radiator
try a water pressure cleaner first

#
if really oiled up or chemi weld was used
should go to the radiator repair place
for assessment of how many cooling tubes are clear
if found in poor condition
the top and bottom tank removed even go as far the core replaced

Oil and water mix may need some special treatment

wynns product says it will do the job for you

might have to do it a few times if the oil sludge is very bad

http://www.wynns.net/product/i/radiator-flush

cant find anything useful on the internet while the block is in the car

Thanks for your help, Ray, may have to use Wynn's for a few flushes
