Hey guys,

Just brought aMagna and I have noticed that when I turn right there is a sound that could be a faint ticking or air being pushed out. I've read that it could be a CV Joint but I also read that it makes noise when you turn hard, but the noise happens even when I slightly turn and gets faster the faster I go. If it is the CV Joint how can I 100% make sure that it is and how much roughly am I looking at to replace them.

I recently had a Roadworthy done on the car and there were no mentions of CV Joints, just master brake cylinder, change brake fluid, and rear lower bushes(pushers?)

I've also got a slight thump noise coming from the front left tyre whenever I go over a bump ect.. Any ideas as to what this is?

Cheers.

You will need to get a mechanically minded person to look at the car and diagnose the problems. Sounds like you have a wonky tyre, suspension strut, wheel bearing and/or CV joints. But I can't see your car, so I'm just guessing.

You could look at the speedo (drive shafts are usually good for 220,000 or more km) and look under the car for split CV joint boots.

That's what I'm confused about because my mechanic has looked over the car, I went in earlier today and got the sway bar tightened up and he had a look around and didn't say he seen anything out of the ordinary.

Could it also be possible that it's my tyres, because I've narrowed it down to that as it's not a clicking noise (I watched a video on what noise the CV makes and it defiantly not that) haha!
