Just finished hooking up a light bar tonight but had some issues. I spliced into the White/Green wire with the Negative that comes from the Passenger side door, but I need a constant 12v so that way the LED turns on when the door opens. I ended up splicing into my 12v cable that is running from my HU to my Amp, the only issue with that is, is that the LED will only work when my HU is on, so I was wondering if there are any other constant 12v Wires that I can splice into so the LED Light Bar will work all the time, not just when the HU is on.
Cheers :)

A simple relay off the Amp trigger wire.
Other methods have a chance to induce noise through the headunit, if, they are Cheap LED's or you run into a problem with quality units...
Ooops...
Dont look for a constant wire unless you want it it when the keys arent in it...
You'll need an accessory switched wire...
How big is the light bar? What does it do....

undo everything that you have done and start again.....
under the dash where the fuse box is is a brown/black connector with a red/red-white wire coming out of it ...this also runs up the drivers side A pillar if you want to remove that for easier access to the wires.
Splice into these two wires and run them to your led strip..if it doesnt work one way ,swap the wires around.
