After reading this post: http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=105989&page=2
I learned that the Eclipse clutch fork is compatible with the F5M33 manual gearbox in a TS.

Could an Eclipse clutch fit in as well?
Clutches look the same, and if anything could be compatible then this might be.

I was looking for a cheap heavy duty clutch, and started looking at Eclipse clutches.
eBay has a nice cheap one:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BAHNHOF-Stage-1-Clutch-kit-Mitsubishi-Eclipse-3-0L-V6-Gas-6G72-Non-Turbo-/170710279469?hash=item27bf20252d:m:mUhqn-ulPn5K-PN-rMQLA1Q

Sure there's a clutch for $340, but if i could get this one for $250, why not?

You may want to check OEM numbers with a dealer here first but F16A general export F5M33 with 6G72 are

disc MD745934 supercedes MD741289
cover MD739223 supercedes MD735195
release bearing MD749998 supercedes MD706180

That clutch kit and Eclipse model has a F5M51, none of the above number cross and since you're talking the 1990's as opposed to the 2000's I would say not.

Z11A 3000GT would be a better vehicle to search kits from 1990-1998 in the US

US Exedy kit 05048, Unlucky I had a brand new unused one I imported for my Galant, gave it away with the car.

Suits a lot of different models including 2.4L galant (US)

Try this link then click on the kit and that will give a list of US models applicable. This is standard OEM spec

http://www.exedyusa.com/oe/Applications?ymm_year=1994&ymm_make=MITSUBISHI&ymm_model=3000GT&ymm_liter=3.0L

EXEDY stage 1 kit is 05800

I'm not a clutch expert.

Thanks for that. I thought something would be compatible. Im gonna stick with the TS heavy clutch, since its the cheapest.
I didnt know anyone in Aus had a Galant. Is it better than a Magna?
