Well, near miss this morning when a truck dropped several sheets of board on the freeway. Cars swerved everywhere and unfortunately I was hit by a couple of pieces.
Damage is scrapes in the clear coat that i think may just polish out.

I checked under the car and found the oil pan has a leak, which i didnt know about but then i notieced the flexible join in the exhaust pipe is damaged. Looks like it may have hit a speed bump and many of the steel braid looks broken. See my pic.
Does anyone know if i can leave this or should it be replaced?

OK to leave it as it is.

Thanks Max. Now I just gotta fix the oil pan leak and try lightly polishing out the scratches in the clear coat.

I've got about a good 20c piece sized hole in mine at the moment, mate borrowed the car and tore through a fence. Body damage isn't bad, but this hole is concerning me with the noise and the "boys in blue"

If someone could help with how to replace it, I'd be thankful.

Thanks, man! Sad part is no way to get it welded in (if it's not a bolt on)

We can re seal that pan but there is a line of oil going up the front as well, I would clean it and keep an eye on it

With the flex pipe, have seen far worse, end of the day if it is not noisy leave it as a new one will get bumped sooner or later anyway

Thanks Mal, lets do that when I bring it over. Maybe you can check the top bolts are tight if you can reach them.
