I'm sure a few members have drained the engine oil with their car level, then raised the front to see if any more would drain. However I don't remember seeing a post on the subject - so, does any more drain? How much?

Leaving it for a few hours to dribble works better.

I usually throw in a little bit of fresh oil in with the sump plug out to get all the dirty stuff out

I leave the front raised a little.

No matter what you do, the insides of the engine will stay covered with the old oil, and there will be little puddles in places like the cylinder heads.

If you really want it spotless, pull the engine out, dismantle and use an old toothbrush and kero bath. (Yes. I'm joking. lol)

Doesn't matter what procedure you use, as long as you do it regularly and use a quality oil and filter.

(As always, your opinion may vary)

To answer the question - not much more comes out.

If you run good oil and do regular oil changes the residual oil left behind does no harm
