looking for some insight into what sort of mods i could do to my car, exhaust is a must, wanting a nice tone but not stupidly loud. everything else I'm not sure about as of yet.

Wouldn't hurt to spend some time flicking through the Member's Machines section for some inspiration.

Head unit.

Front strut brace

Aftermarket alloys, or Mitsubishi alloys from a different Magna/380/Lancer. A number of members have fitted 380 wheels to Magna's (including me in a few days time) with very good visual results for a lot less then aftermarkets

TJ Series 2 VRX alloys, TJ VRX muffler, Dobinsons lowered springs, strut brace, tint, head unit, subwoofer and a good cut and polish.

Anything forward of the front seats (front seats, dash, engine, front wheel drive transmission, front suspension/brakes/hubs, panels and lighting) will fit.
Anything rear of the front seats (rear seats, rear door glass, all panels except for the rear doors, lighting, headlining, carpet, trims except for rear door trims, rear suspension, brakes, hubs, exhaust from the y-pipe back) will not.

Do a search. There's 10+ years of useful information at hand should you take the time to look.

Very politely put.
(Your description is pretty thorough though.)

OP: Yes, do some searching and lots of reading.
Better still, find a wrecker's yard, and compare the body and under carriage of a sedan and wagon. You can learn a lot by just looking.
