I don't have an engine crane, do have a small trolley jack and some wood though
Wondering if there's good support points to jack up the engine slightly and remove the weight to get the mount off. The one i'm looking to replace is the drivers side. Just about to check if the others have cracked but I don't think so, only very slight shaking at specific speeds, unnoticeable around town

I think most people just use a piece of wood on the sump to hold the engine up.

Will you just do that one engine mount?

Where are is the shaking noticed?
Mine shakes ever so slightly at around 40-50km/h but I suspect drive shafts at 212,000km

It shakes predominantly at something like 78-83kph and 98-105kph. Couldn't tell you exactly, just that its a fairly narrow range and it's noticeably worse at a particular speed, couple clicks up/down on the cruise control calms but not completely removes it at speeds between 80 and 110kph. Under hard acceleration its more noticeable but only above about 75kph

Just had a look, rear transmission mount looks good, drivers side one is well split and has been for months, left hand side mount is hard to tell. I can see and feel a little bit of rubber peeling at the 1 o'clock rearward position, but it otherwise looks ok so i'll leave that one for now

Drive shafts well hmm.... While checking the mounts I also investigated this bloody annoying high pitches squeak I have in my suspension somewhere, been there for months. Well of course murphy came out in true fashion and decided to remove the squeak tonight. But I did also jack up the car and check for wiggle in the X and Y axis of the wheels. Both front wheels have a very slight bit of movement and audible clunking in the Y axis. Could this be driveshafts perhaps? It's only very slight but it is audible when twisting the wheel back n forth
