Looking for Pinout of Manual Bosch computer Part no 9260060065
What is the process of FLASHING THE COMPUTER ( does this erase the program when 12v is applied)
12 V is supplied to what pin on the COMPUTER to Flash
What program is required to read /write to the computer
I have read if you enter FFFF it disables the Imobiler ????????

I found modified Mitsubishi forum has a dedicated ECU tuning section, Magna factory ECU tuning with ECUFlash/Evoscan doing a simple search.
If i was to venture into this I'd have a spare ECU to experiment on in case it gets bricked.

My understanding is that 1996, 1997 and early 1998 build E & F series have ECUs with MH7201F processor chips and the only software claiming to be able to reflash these ECUs is MMCFlash (http://www.evoscan.com/evoscan-gps-obdii-cables/details/40/1/performance-vehicle-pc-diagnostic-interfaces/mmcflash-usb-dongle-and-software-for-reflashing) (Module 1) and an OpenPort 2.0 cable is also required (also available from Evoscan).
If the ECU has the same pinout as the reflashable H8 manual ECUs in mid-1998 onwards F series cars, the reflashing signal will be on pin 79. However these ECUs require more than +12V on the reflashing pin which is why the specialised cable is required (it can generate the required voltage when it is needed).
Even if you can read the ECU, because no-one that I'm aware of has done any work on these ECUs you will still need to reverse engineer the ROM to find the useful maps.
Obtaining either a reflashable F series manual ECU (will have a chip clearly labelled "MH7202F" on the PCB; still requires an OpenPort 2.0 cable) or a J series manual ECU (can be reflashed with an OpenPort 1.3U cable) will be much more practical than trying to reflash the original ECU as the ECUFlash software works for these ECU types. While H series ECUs are also reflashable, I wouldn't recommend these for use in an E/F series car as there's no easy way at the moment to neutralise the CEL caused by the lack of a barometric pressure sensor in the E/F series MAF, whereas this isn't an issue with an F series ECU and the CEL can be neutralised in a J series ECU.
If you need to disable the immobiliser in an F series ROM, the "FFFF" value for the immobiliser code doesn't work as that's what the code already is; the immobiliser needs to be disabled via option bits instead. Running a J series ECU in an E/F series car requires the immobiliser being disabled via option bits.
