Noticed yesterday that the high beam / low beam switch (pull towards you to swap) is now just functioning as a high beam flash instead. (Won't switch between high and low beam.) Is this a common fault? Spray some silicone lubricant into it?

Pulling up lightly on the stalk flashes the high beam, you need to pull a bit harder to get it to swap from low to high or vice versa.

If that doesn't work, the stalk needs pulling out and looking at or replacing.
Relays under the bonnet would be worth looking at first, though.

At least you won't have an airbag to worry about if you do need to pull the steering wheel off. lol
